Ensuring our campaign materials are accessible to everyone in our diverse community is a core value at Castro for Georgia. We need your help translating key resources into languages like Spanish, Vietnamese, and more.
Whether youβre bilingual, a professional translator, or simply want to help review translations, your contributions will empower neighbors across GAβ05 to fully engage with our campaign.
π What You Can Translate
We welcome translations for all kinds of materials, including:
- Policy documents (Housing, Healthcare, Economy)
- Community event flyers
- Social media posts and graphics
- Volunteer onboarding materials
- Campaign announcements and updates
π How Translation Works on Our GitHub Repo
We manage translations directly through our GitHub repository to make collaboration easy, transparent, and accessible. Hereβs how:
1. Find Translation Tasks
Visit the Issues page and look for labels like:
translations
es
(Spanish)vi
(Vietnamese)- or your specific language code.
2. Choose a File to Translate
Translation files live inside the main folders, in clearly marked subfolders:

3. Translate the File

- Clone the repository, translate the file locally, and submit a Pull Request.
4. Submit Your Translation
Open a Pull Request (PR) with your translated document:
- Clearly label the PR, e.g., βSpanish Translation β Quick Start Guide.β
- Our translation team will quickly review and merge your contribution.
