We are committed to fostering a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone participating in the Castro for Georgia open-source campaign—regardless of age, background, race, gender, ability, or level of technical experience.
This campaign belongs to the people of Georgia’s 5th District. That means we listen, we learn, and we lead with dignity.
💡 Our Standards
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:
- Kind, respectful communication
- Active listening, especially across differences
- Constructive feedback rooted in care
- A willingness to teach and support new contributors
- Giving credit and recognizing others’ work
Examples of unacceptable behavior:
- Harassment or discrimination of any kind
- Posting or linking to sexually explicit or violent material
- Personal insults or name-calling
- Trolling, deliberate disruption, or intimidation
- Publishing others’ private information without consent
🔧 Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- Warning
- Removal of comments or contributions
- Temporary or permanent bans
- Escalation to campaign leadership or legal counsel if necessary
Enforcement is handled by the campaign’s Moderators and Maintainers.
